	Empire Zoysia is a new variety released by that is performing excellent in the Carolinas and across the South.  It's superior dark green color and open growth habit have made it a popular choice among home lawns.  Empire's medium size blades make for easy mowing with a rotary or reel mower.  Empire has excellent shade tolerance and shows good drought tolerance.  Having a mid to low growth rate means low maintenance for home owners.  Empire has also been planted on golf courses for fairway and tees and is an excellent choice for commercial sites.  See website for additional information.
